I’m so excited that the time is finally near, and everything is really coming together for my first event.  Below, I’m posting what all sessions will be offered to choose from.  If you have a church or organization that you think might possibly be interested, please feel free to send me either a personal email at megatlin@verizon.net  or comment here the name of the church or organization, the person of contact, and address if you have it.  Thank you for helping me as I start on this new journey.

Session Options:

Perfect
From movies to magazines, girls are flooded with images of what the world says is perfection every day.  Reinforcing Psalm 139:14 “I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made,” this session will equip you with confidence to be who you were created to be in Christ. 

Redeemed
Drugs.  Alcohol.  Eating disorders.  Cutting.  Sex.  Thoughts of Suicide.  It’s hard to get through a day without facing the choices you’ve made and choices you consider making.  How can anyone, much less God, love me for the things I’m doing?  This session is created to show you that redemption is just one step away, and God is waiting for you with open arms.

The Warrior Princess – Dressed for Battle
Spiritual warfare is very real.  Are you prepared for battle?  This session will show you that you are already fully equipped to fight the battle by dressing in the most fashionable wardrobe you can wear.  You will leave knowing you are an empowered warrior princess who can fight even the most destructive arrows the enemy throws your way.

Creating Confident Daughters
As a parent with a daughter, it’s easy to find yourself wondering how she feels about herself.  What can I do to help strengthen her self-image, and at what age do I start?   Statistics show that a girl’s view of herself starts changing around 9 years old and begins at home with her parents.  This session for parents of girls ages 8-18 talks about ways you as a parent can contribute to your daughter’s positive or negative perception of herself sometimes without even realizing it.

There are two options for the dating session:  2 hour/2 part combined boy/girl session, or a 1 hour girl only session:

Misconceptions (Part 1 ~ combined boy/girl session)
The idea of dating surrounds us in almost everything we do.  There are so many misconceptions about the who, the what, and the when of dating.  This session will provide both boys and girls with a fool-proof guide to dating at any age.

Misinformation (Part 2 ~ girl session)
What I choose to wear doesn’t matter to anyone but me.  I can test the waters and not be emotionally connected to this boy.   You may not be aware of the effects that occur with even the simplest choices you make.  This girls only session will discuss how easily emotional ties can be created and how the way you present yourself can positively or negatively affect those around you.

Misinterpretation (Part 2 ~ boy session)

It’s difficult to be a young man trying to walk in the light of the Lord when there is temptation everywhere you look.  Whether you’re watching a movie, listening to music, sitting in class or driving down the highway, you can’t hide from sexual images.  This boys only session is created to help you find your strength to remain pure in a sex-saturated world.
